		<description>Actually, the PGA in fact &lt;i&gt;does&lt;/i&gt; (and rumor has it, did) pay Tiger to show up.  Obviously they know who their cash cow is, and the other players can&#039;t and don&#039;t complain, because when he shows up, people watch, and when people watch, sponsors pay and purses grow.  After all, do you think 10 years ago a guy like Rocco Mediate--basically a no-name outside of the golf inner-circle--could have expected to walk away from a single event with $730,000...for coming in second?  Not a chance.</description>
